Savanna Dry Cider

Savanna was launched in May 1996 and immediately established itself with its distinctively dry taste as its trademark. Savanna stood apart from other brands as it was packed in a clear 340ml bottle and was the first cider to move away from traditional beer-like packaging.

Another point of difference was drinking ritual, which became an entrenched part of the Savanna experience. Since launch, Savanna has been served with a lemon wedge placed in the neck of the bottle and has always been consumed directly from the bottle.

Savanna is naturally brewed, matured and made from the Granny Smith Apples grown in the Elgin area in the Westen Cape of South Africa.
