Wolf and Woman Pinotage 2022

It all starts with a lengthy exploration to find the right vineyards in the right soils. Our small, boutique winery focuses on discovering the magic of the old vines in the Swartland (and certain beautiful pockets of the Voor-Paardeberg and Piekenierskloof) that provide an exceptional expression of the schist, granite en iron soils in which it grows.

Wolf & Woman Pinotage is a blend of grapes from two different vineyards, both of which are situated in granite soil in the Paardeberg region. Dryland bush vines planted in 1973 yielded 90% of the grapes; the remaining 10% came from younger dryland bush vines that grow at 350m above sea level.
