Miles Mossop Introduction Chenin Blanc 2021

Miles Mossop released their first wines in 2004, sourcing all the fruit from exceptional vineyards across Stellenbosch. Time has broadened horizons and expanded the range, with Swartland fruit coming into the mix. This is very much the archetype of modern South African wine producers, with an emphasis on classic European styles and unique blends that are only found in South Africa.

The range is divided into three tiers. The Introduction range comprises a red and a white, bistro wines of exceptional expression and value.

From unirrigated bush vines in Stellenbosch and Swartland.  A remarkably complex and immensely satisfying wine at this price, a testament to the versatility of Chenin Blanc.

Aromatics of lavender honey, quince, apricot, nectarine and jasmine. Intense and bright, with zingy citrus, tangy apple and a lovely mineral finish. There’s structure, quite tight in fact, complementing the richness of the fruit. An incredible wine for a whole variety of cuisines and occasions.
